After cleansing your skin, a medical grade topical anesthetic is applied. This will make the treatment more comfortable. After 30-45 mins we will remove the topical and your procedure is now ready to begin.

The Genius® RF Microneedling device will penetrate your skin anywhere from 0.3 mm to 3.5 mm, with a quick pause to deliver the energy into the targeted tissues. This process is performed over the entire treatment area twice for optimal outcome.

Treatment duration varies based on the treated area, ranging from 15 minutes to 45 minutes. Pinkness and swelling usually appear after the procedure but typically subsides after 24 to 36 hours.

While most patients see initial improvement after the initial procedure, it generally takes 2 to 3 sessions to achieve optimal results. For six months following treatment, the body will continue to rebuild collagen, resulting in gradual improvements. For dramatic results, multiple treatments may be best.

Most patients consider this treatment to be very tolerable; however, because it incorporates heat, some patients do experience discomfort during this treatment and report that it is more uncomfortable than traditional microneedling.  This is because the Genius uses the thinnest and sharpest needles on the market. However we still use a medical grade topical anesthetic to be applied 60 mins before the procedure to ensure optimal comfort.

Following treatment with Genius® RF Microneedling, you may experience some moderate redness. This will improve over the next three days. Any swelling, bruising, or bleeding that occurs should also subside during this time.
